Westchester Marketing Café to Present at WCC GROW Conference

Yorktown Heights, NY – (April 15, 2015) Award-winning web designer and Yorktown-based entrepreneur Jann Mirchandani has been selected to present at Westchester Community College’s Gateway to Entrepreneurship (G2E) Center GROW Conference on Friday, May 1st. Mirchandani, the owner of Westchester Marketing Café LLC, will lead a Social Media Lab at the conference, which is the region’s largest gathering of business owners and professionals for the purpose of workshops and training for small businesses.

Mirchandani established Westchester Marketing Café in 1999 uniquely positioning it as both a marketing firm and a web development firm. She combines her 20-plus years of marketing experience with her technical expertise to execute online marketing strategies for the real world. The Certified Woman-Owned Business provides online marketing strategy and implementation for small and mid-sized businesses and nonprofits.

“I love what I do and sharing my knowledge with people who want to learn,” commented Mirchandani.

“The journey of a business owner and entrepreneur is challenging and exhilarating at the same time, and I believe that sharing and supporting one another along the way is a key to success.”

Mirchandani is teaming up with Kalynn Amadio, a digital marketing mentor for baby boomer entrepreneurs and Principal of Ikalynn LLC, for the two-part session workshop. The Social Media Lab will cover strategy and time management tools and provide participants the opportunity to use classroom computers to log in to existing social channels and get expert advice on how to make them shine.

Mirchandani is a frequent speaker to business groups on leveraging social media and inbound marketing and is an active member of the Business Council of Westchester and the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber as well as previously having served on the board of AAUW New York State.
