With multiple channels CoinReplicas.com, based in Mahopac, NY, was competing against itself. The immediate priority for this project was to establish an eCommerce website that was search-engine friendly and serve as the primary sales and marketing channel for the company using a content management system.
The site also needed to absorb the blog containing informative articles about the various types of coins available and time periods represented.
With more products on the way it all needed to be scalable so that additional categories, periods and products could be included without disrupting the user experience.
CoinReplicas.com asked us to create a user-friendly site that could manage the vast array of content – products, photos and articles – vital to its success. With these goals in mind we needed to create a site that would;
- Operate as an ecommerce site with 200+ products and “play nice” with their inventory and sales platform offline
- Integrate an educational blog with categories that could feature related products
- Utilize a content management system allowing the client to update and manage the site in-house
- Leverage email marketing integration, optins and lead development
The end result was a sophisticated blend of static and dynamically-generated content, product and blog pages.
